Prudential Financial announces sale of Prudential of Brazil and Prudential of Mexico to CNP Assurances

NEWARK, N.J., October 20, 2026--Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU) today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements to sell Prudential of Brazil and Prudential of Mexico to the CNP Assurances Group (respectively to CNP Seguradora, CNP Assurances’ Brazilian subsidiary, and to CNP Assurances Holding) for an aggregate purchase price of $4.025 billion in cash, subject to certain closing adjustments.
