American Battery Technology Co (NASDAQ:ABAT) shares rose 10% in premarket trading on Thursday after the company received US government approval to export up to $100 million of recycled black mass material. The approval from the US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security allows American Battery Technology to sell its recycled black mass under specified terms following the introduction of federal export controls covering critical battery materials.
