Foundation honoring Blackstone's Wesley LePatner aims to develop 1,000 next-gen leaders

Wesley LePatner, a Blackstone real estate executive, was killed last year in a shooting at her Manhattan office building. On Fortune Daily, her husband, Evan LePatner, explained why launched the Wesley Mittman LePatner Foundation with the goal to develop 1,000 leaders who will put their private-sector skills to work for nonprofits and civic institutions.
