Brokerage
Market Mechanics
A brokerage is the firm that routes your orders to exchanges or other trading venues and holds the shares and cash in your account.
Investors in Turkey reach US stocks either through a domestic brokerage's international service or by opening an account directly with a foreign broker. Brokerages differ in commissions, currency conversion costs, custody fees and the order types they offer.
