Assessment

Tesla is above all four averages; the closest is the 200-day at 386.13. RSI at 60 is far from overbought. MACD crossed above its signal line in the last session. Yesterday's 380.15 – 386.35 zone is behind price; the new zone runs from the 200-day to the 390.87 pivot. The stop sits just under the 20-day at 371.58, because losing that average too would void the cross.

Reading the Volume

Yesterday's 53.4M shares were 1.43 times the 37.2M average; the cross came on heavy participation.

Scenarios

Scenarios on the Price Axis

Levels come from the scenario text; only figures that match a recorded level are drawn. Distances are measured from the price above the rail.

Bull Case

The upside path runs through the 398.02 R1 and the 404.41 R2 toward the 414.75 peak. The fresh cross is confirmed if the MACD histogram widens over the next sessions.

Bear Case

A break of the 200-day at 386.13 would test the 377.33 S2 and the 20-day at 371.58. The stop is at 371; losing the 20-day voids the buy scenario.

Behind the Levels

Targets
414.75 and 432.86 are chart peaks; the first target is 1.6 times the risk away.
Entry Zone
The 200-day at 386.13 and the 390.87 pivot.
Stop
Just under the 20-day at 371.58; 1.1 ATR below the zone's lower edge.

What Does BUY Mean?

Full Guide

The trend is up: price is above its 50-day average and an entry zone sits on a support. Stop and targets are defined, and the first target is at least 1.5 times the risk away. It means “the plan to buy in this zone is live”, not “buy now”.

If You Don't Own It
Buying is considered inside the zone. If price is above it, the plan does not chase and waits for a pullback; if price falls under the stop, the plan is void and there is no purchase.
If You Own It
The position is held and the stop is watched as the point of giving up. Targets are the stops for taking profit: selling part at one target and carrying the rest to the next is a common approach.
All at Once or in Steps?
The zone is a range, not a single price. Spreading the purchase across it (part at the top, the rest toward the bottom) avoids betting on one price. Buying at once does not break the plan either, but the risk is then measured from the top of the zone to the stop. The stop distance sets the size: know in advance how much you lose if the stop is hit.
The Other Views
  • HOLDMixed picture or price far from the zone; waiting for confirmation.
  • SELLTrend down; no new buying, rallies are a chance to reduce.

Why the View Rarely Changes. The view is reviewed in every edition but changes only on a concrete trigger: a moving average breaking, price closing under the stop, or the entry zone being rebuilt. Indicators come from daily closes; the plan is written for readers of the daily chart, not for intraday trading.

What to Watch

  • MACD buy cross formed in the last session: if the histogram turns negative again, the BUY case weakens.
  • 200-day at 386.13: a dip below it tests the newly set BUY plan.
