Market Order
Market Mechanics
A market order is an instruction to buy or sell immediately at the best price available, without naming a price.
It is almost certain to execute, but the price is not guaranteed. In fast-moving or thinly traded stocks, or in the pre-market, it can fill noticeably away from the price you saw on screen.
