US-China Trade Truce Extended to January, but Not Yet in Writing
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the Busan truce now runs to January 10, 2027, minutes before Xi Jinping landed in Washington. But the US side of the truce rests on dated Federal Register suspensions, and without a new notice the 50% affiliates rule returns on November 10.
